1. PVA FIBERS CAN BE USED IN REINFORCEMENT,
MAINLY DUE TO:
(1) High tensile strength and modulus.
(2)Good chemical compatibility with
Portland cement.
(3)Hydrophilic, helps PVA fibers uniformly
disperse in the cement matrix.
(4)There is a good interface bonding force between High-strength PVA fiber and cement matrix for the following reasons: A, The none circular and irregular section of this PVA fibers helps
expanding PVA bonding surface with cement matrix; B, The—C—Oh group in molecular structure of the PVA fibers and the—OH group in molecular structure of the cement hydrates
forms a strong hydrogen bridge.
2. THE REINFORCEMENT AND ARCHITECTURAL MATERIALS WHICH ARE MADE FROM HIGH
STRENGTH PVA IS BASING ON FIBER REINFORCED
HAS THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGES:
(1) It has a good mechanical character, can improve the strength and impact of the architectural materials. It can increase the flexural strength of the materials to 200%, the flexural strength
can be increased from 195kg/cm2 to 225kg/cm2, anti-fatigue can also improve flexibility and prevent from cracking.

acidoressistance,and is suit of all cements.
(3) It has good disperstiveness,make
buiding material smart and infalling off.
(4) The deflection temperature and the cold resistance of the cement board and cement bricks can be increase 50%.

(6) The amount of PVA being used is only one-fifth of asbestos, so it can reduce the product per unit weight.
